By downloading, installing, or using Rise & Capy, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app: Apple Standard EULA.
Service description
Rise & Capy is an alarm clock app for iPhone. It schedules alarms using Apple's AlarmKit, offers optional wake-up missions before an alarm can be dismissed, and tracks a simple local wake streak. The app runs entirely on your device — there is no account system and no backend service beyond what's needed to process your purchase.
Alarm reliability
Rise & Capy schedules alarms through Apple's AlarmKit framework, which is designed to sound through Silent mode and most Focus modes, the same way the built-in Clock app does. However, we cannot guarantee that an alarm will sound under every possible condition — for example, if your device is powered off, out of battery, in Airplane Mode without the app configured correctly, or affected by an iOS or hardware issue outside our control.
Please test your alarm setup on your own device before relying on it for anything important, and do not rely on Rise & Capy as your sole method of waking up for safety-critical situations.
Free plan and Capy Pro
- Rise & Capy is free to download and includes a free plan with one alarm. Capy Pro, which adds unlimited alarms and additional wake-up missions, is unlocked with a single non-consumable purchase of $9.99. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it does not renew or recur.
- Purchases of the Rise & Capy full unlock made before the free plan was introduced include Capy Pro.
- Purchases are billed and processed by Apple through the App Store, and entitlement is verified using RevenueCat.
- Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple under standard App Store policies. We do not process payments or refunds directly.
- You can restore your purchase from Settings inside the app if you reinstall the app or switch to a new device signed in with the same Apple Account.
Acceptable use
- You may not use Rise & Capy in a way that violates applicable law or Apple's platform rules.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or bypass the app's purchase verification or entitlement checks.
- You are responsible for your own device, iOS settings, and App Store account.
Third-party services
Rise & Capy uses Apple services (the App Store, AlarmKit, Core Motion) and RevenueCat for purchase management. We do not control these services and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted operation. Each operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy.
Disclaimers
Rise & Capy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app, its alarms, its wake-up missions, or its purchase and restore functionality will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Randy Ventures will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of Rise & Capy, including damages resulting from a missed or delayed alarm.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Rise & Capy after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
