How do I start a new match?
Tap the + button on the home screen. Choose Singles or Doubles, enter your opponent's name, and pick your game target (first to 11, 15, or 21). For doubles, you can also add your partner's name.
How do I score a point?
Tap the large zone on your side of the screen to add a point for you, or the zone on the right to add a point for your opponent. The zones are intentionally large so you can tap quickly mid-rally without looking.
How do I undo a score?
Tap the undo button (↩) at the top of the scoring screen. You can undo multiple times to go back as far as you need.
Does RallyTrack support doubles?
Yes — full doubles support is built in. When starting a match, select Doubles to enable server rotation tracking, partner name entry, and proper official score calling (your score – opponent score – server number).
How does RallyTrack handle the serve in doubles?
RallyTrack follows the serving team, the score order, and whether you're the first or second server. When the serving team loses a rally, it automatically moves to the next serving player or hands over the serve on a side-out — so the score call on screen is always the one you should be saying out loud.
Can I score from my Apple Watch?
Yes. Start a match on iPhone, then score points, undo mistakes, check who is serving, follow the timer, or end the match from your Apple Watch. Scores and match endings stay synchronized with iPhone, so you can leave your phone in your bag.
What are rivalry records?
Every saved match builds a head-to-head record against that opponent. RallyTrack shows who leads the series, so you can carry the record into your next rematch.
What happens when the game ends?
RallyTrack automatically detects game point and shows a Game Over screen with your match summary. From there you can save the match to history, start a rematch with the same opponent, or keep playing past the game point.
How do I share my result?
After a match ends, tap Share Result on the Game Over screen. RallyTrack generates a result card (dark or light themed to match your app) that you can share via iMessage, Instagram, or any other app.
Can I get a reminder on my usual play day?
Yes — RallyTrack can send an optional reminder on the day you normally play. You can turn reminders on or off at any time in the app's settings.
Does RallyTrack work offline?
Yes — RallyTrack works completely offline. No internet connection is ever required. All your data is stored locally on your device.
What's the difference between free and Pro?
The free version lets you track live matches and keeps a limited match history. RallyTrack Pro ($5.99 one-time) unlocks unlimited match history, form trend charts, head-to-head opponent stats, and partner analytics for doubles. No subscription — ever.
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Go to the Profile tab and tap Restore under the Pro section. This will re-link your purchase to the current device if you've reinstalled the app or switched phones.
Will my data transfer if I reinstall the app?
Not automatically — match history is stored locally on your device and is removed when you delete the app. We recommend not deleting the app unless necessary. iCloud sync is on our roadmap for a future update.
How do I switch sides during a match?
When you reach the midpoint of a game (e.g., 6 points in a game to 11), RallyTrack shows a reminder to switch sides. Tap to dismiss it when you're ready.
How do I delete my data?
Go to the Profile tab and tap Clear All Data at the bottom. This permanently removes all match history and stats from your device.
