The short version: RallyTrack keeps your match history, scores, stats, preferences, and player names on your device. We do not require an account, do not sell your data, do not run ads, and do not use your data for tracking. If you use the Apple Watch app, health data stays on your device too — see Health and Apple Watch.
What we collect
RallyTrack collects limited, privacy-preserving usage analytics so we can understand which features are being used and improve the app. Analytics events may include:
- App opened, match started, match completed, share tapped, stats viewed
- Purchase started, purchase completed, purchase restored
- Review prompt shown, notification setting changes
- Limited match metadata — match type, score values, win/loss result, match duration, and aggregate match counts
They do not include your full match history, player names, opponent names, notes, payment information, contact information, or precise location. They are associated with a random app-generated identifier, not your name, email address, or Apple ID.
What stays on your device
All match history, scores, stats, preferences, and player names are stored locally on your iPhone. This app data stays on your device unless you choose to share a match result using iOS sharing features.
Health and Apple Watch New in 2.1
If you use the Apple Watch app, RallyTrack can record your match as a pickleball workout in Apple Health. This is optional. The first time you play a match on your watch, iOS asks for permission — if you decline, scoring works exactly as it did before and no workout is recorded.
With your permission, RallyTrack:
- Writes a workout to Apple Health — its start time, duration, pickleball activity type, and active energy burned
- Reads your heart rate and active energy while you play, so the saved workout reflects how hard the match actually was
Health data is used for exactly one purpose: recording your match as a workout on your own device. It never leaves your device, is never included in analytics, is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never shared with or sold to anyone, including data brokers. You can revoke RallyTrack's access at any time in the iPhone Health app under Sharing › Apps.
Third-party services
RallyTrack uses RevenueCat to process in-app purchases (the optional Pro upgrade). RevenueCat handles purchase validation through Apple's payment infrastructure.
RallyTrack uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-preserving product analytics. We use these analytics for app functionality and product improvement only. We do not use analytics for advertising or tracking, and we do not share analytics with data brokers.
In-app purchases
The optional Pro upgrade is processed entirely through Apple's App Store. RallyTrack never sees or stores your payment information.
Data deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by using the Clear All Data option in the Profile tab, or by uninstalling the app from your device.
Children's privacy
RallyTrack does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
