Privacy Policy

While We're Here is a conversation card game for iOS. There is no account to create, no login, and no server run by this app. This policy explains what stays on your device and what happens when you buy or restore the one-time unlock.

What stays on your device

The questions you write, your named decks, your favorites, which cards you have played or skipped, and where you stopped in a session are stored in the app's local storage on your device. The app also stores whether you have seen the introduction and whether the lifetime unlock is active, so that play keeps working offline.

This app does not upload your questions or your play history, and it does not use iCloud sync for them. It does not collect gameplay analytics.

Purchases

The full library is a single one-time purchase. Apple processes the purchase itself; this app never receives your payment card details.

The app uses RevenueCat as its purchase layer. RevenueCat processes purchase history and an anonymous identifier that it assigns to your installation, so the app can confirm whether the unlock is active, restore a previous purchase, and provide purchase analytics to the developer. The app does not send RevenueCat a name, email address, custom user ID, advertising identifier, or any of your card text. Apple and RevenueCat handle the information they receive under their own policies: Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

When the app uses the network

Buying the unlock, restoring purchases, and refreshing your purchase status require an internet connection. Playing does not: once access is established on your device, the cards work offline.

Sharing cards

You can choose to export your cards to a file. That is always something you start, and you choose where the file goes. An exported file contains your questions, follow-ups, and deck names. It does not contain your play history or favorites, and it is not a full backup. Once you send or save that file somewhere, the service or device you chose handles it under its own terms.

What the app does not do

• No advertising, ad networks, or advertising identifier.
• No app-owned account, login, or cloud sync of your writing.
• No tracking across other apps and websites, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• No crash-reporting or analytics SDK for gameplay.
• No access to contacts, location, microphone, camera, or notifications.

Keeping and deleting your information

Deleting the app removes its local storage, including your written cards, decks, favorites, and history, from that device. Restoring a purchase restores access to the full library; it does not bring back cards you deleted or data removed with the app. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are kept under their own retention practices and are not deleted by removing the app.

If you have a question about purchase information associated with your installation, email the address below and describe the issue. Because the app assigns no identity to you, some requests may need information from your Apple purchase receipt to act on.

Children

The questions are written for a general audience and are intended to be used together, out loud. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the app adds a feature that changes what is processed — for example an account, sync, or analytics — this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the effective date above will change.
