OwnTake

Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2, 2026

These initial terms are a placeholder for the OwnTake public beta and will be updated after final legal review. By using OwnTake, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

Your content and permissions

You must own the videos, audio, images, and other material you submit, or have all permissions needed to use them. You are responsible for the content you upload and for reviewing each generated remix before sharing it. Do not submit another creator's media merely because it is publicly viewable.

OwnTake's intended use

OwnTake analyzes video structure and helps you create an original version with your own footage. It is not a downloader, scraper, rights-clearance service, or substitute for professional legal advice. You may not use OwnTake to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or to evade a platform's rules.

Subscriptions and purchases

Paid plans are purchased through Apple and may be managed or canceled through your Apple account settings. Subscription availability, pricing, renewal, refunds, and payment processing are governed by Apple's applicable terms. OwnTake does not receive your payment card information.

Generated results

Generated analysis, scripts, captions, shot plans, and remixes may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for checking the result, rights, claims, music, captions, and platform requirements before publishing or relying on it. OwnTake does not promise that a generated result will perform, be accepted by a platform, or be free of errors.

Availability and changes

Features, limits, models, pricing, and supported export destinations may change as the service develops. OwnTake may suspend access when needed for security, maintenance, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. The service is provided on an early-access basis while these terms remain a placeholder.
